Teeth coloration may also result in micro cracks and biting edges become darker. Nowadays, there are three main whitening options, depending on peroxide concentrations and application times. The most reliable procedure is in-office whitening. Relatively high-concentration peroxide gel is applied to teeth, usually for a couple of 15-to-20-minute intervals, and generally it does not exceed an hour. With stubborn stains, further bleaching procedures may be needed; alternatively, continue with a home-use whitening kit. Home-use whitening kits are professionally supplied and yield best long-term results. They include low concentration peroxide gel for hour-long treatment, or with stubborn stains overnight, if peroxide concentration is very low. Bleaching trays aid gel application. Over-the-counter teeth whitener kits are the cheapest and most preferred options, containing bleaching gel with concentration lower than that of professionally supplied home-use kits. With one-size-fits-all trays, the result may be just whitening a couple of front teeth. Finally, use fruits: strawberries, oranges, lemons, to whiten teeth by rubbing a strawberry or orange peel on teeth, or a drop of lemon in toothpaste……..
