About the weather, the country is mostly savanna, although the moist and mountainous east supports tropical evergreen and hardwood forests. The best season to visit Zimbabwe is Aril to October which is the dry season. Football is the most popular of sports in the country, along with rugby union and cricket. What makes Zimbabwe a tourist place is magical land, studded with granite hills, green and fertile plains, high moorlands and craggy, forest-topped mountains, rolling savannah and flowing rivers.
